Fatdog 2016 Big Success
By Harvey Mossman:

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who attended FaTDoG 2016 and I hope you all had a great time. Once again it was a pleasure to see so many people who share the same interests and who are passionate about our hobby get together for one day of pure fun.

Once again the attendance grew by almost 30% thanks to everyone spreading the word. All of you are the best advertisement for FaTDoG and I hope you will continue to spread the word to your friends and fellow gamers. We would like this convention to grow and we have early plans to do a 4 day convention in the spring or summer.

I hope everyone liked the new venue. It was a big step up and gave us more space. Next year I will try to get the grand ballroom which was adjacent to the room we were in. This is even a bigger space of more than 8000 ft.².

I now just have 2 requests. Unfortunately I did not take as many pictures as I would have liked so I would request the people who took pictures of the event please send them to me at this email address. It would be greatly appreciated. I would like to post them on our website.

I also request that if you have any suggestions as to how we can make FaTDoG even better, please let me know. I am always trying to find a way to do things better and would be particularly interested in ideas that you would like to see instituted at FaTDoG. So please don’t be shy and let me know what thoughts you have.

I would like to give a special thanks to some of the people who help make this event. Bob Demaio is a huge help in organization particularly with the venue table arrangements. He also is the man responsible for suggesting to me that we take FaTDoG out of my basement and go big time. So all of this is really his fault. I also want to thank Hermann Luttmann who has always been a great support and works as our liaison to all the game publishers. Another important member of the team is Mark Dagosta a great sounding board and has been tremendous helping out with advertising and publicizing the event. It’s guys like these who are willing to donate their free time to ensure that FaTDoG is a success.
The end of FaTDoG is always bittersweet because we have to wait another year to get together. Nevertheless I am looking forward to it already!

Have great holidays and please don’t forget to send your photos of FaTDoG to me!

Warmest regards,

Harvey
